The AZH460 is part of a new generation of compact but powerful laser projectors built for long life and efficiency. With much lower power usage than an older style lamp based projector the AZH460 produces a brilliant 4500 ANSI lumen brightness level from a mere 176watt input. This is half many lamp based models reducing power bills and environmental costs. The laser light source is also long lasting with a life of up to 30,000 hours saving on replacing lamps and down time. The 1.6X optical zoom of the AZH460 gives you a flexible installation distance making it a great choice for replacing an older lamp projector.
The AZH460 is Optoma's most compact hassle free FHD 1080p DuraCore laser projector to date. Designed for maintenance-free continuous operation, it can be installed in virtually any orientation and location due to the small and lightweight footprint (34% smaller)
Designed with the environment in mind the ZH460 cuts power by 40% vs a typical Optoma lamp based product. In addition, being built around laser technology this ensure a long product lifespan without the need for additional lamps. Optoma have looked to minimize product design to cut logistic impacts on the environment cutting CO2 and reducing our overall carbon footprint. The model is also the first in a line of product from Optoma to look to use Post-Consumer Recycled material within the product itself.
This feature-packed projector has a built-in speaker and its laser technology delivers up to 30,000 hours of maintenance-free laser light source. Designed with ultimate control and convenience in mind, this projector comes with an RS232 connection for monitoring and controlling as well as a 1.6x zoom functionality for flexible setup.
This new model is geared for meeting rooms, medium-sized exhibition venues, events or tradeshows. It maintains excellent image quality as brightness and colour saturation is preserved for longer compared to lamp-based systems.
High dynamic range (HDR) technology improves contrast ratio, brightness, and color depth on the display, delivers brighter whites and deeper black levels. It enhances the details and depth of field, making the images clearer and more realistic.
Designed with environmental friendliness in mind, Optoma is dedicated to providing eco-friendly, cost-effective, and reliable products, that bring better experiences to people all around the world. With the future-proofed laser technology, our products are energy-saving, mercury-free, and more economical.
High power consumption and mercury pollution in traditional lamp-based projectors are gradually replaced with more reliable, mercury-free, and eco-friendly lamp-free laser projectors.
Laser projectors are durable with up to 30,000 hrs. life span (eco) and 24/7 operation, which save cost on the lamp replacements, and has a long-term lifespan for any professional applications.
Designed with simplicity in mind, Optoma dedicates to minimizing the product size and optimizing the component to be compact yet reliable enough for daily use.
Replace the thermal module with the heatsink.
The latest phosphor wheel is optimized from 54mm to 47mm compared to the previous-gen.
Remove the LVPS and replace it with an power adapter, which is easily to be repaired and replaced.
With compacter product size, comes reduced packaging size as well. While package size reduced by 47%, it allows doubled quantity of products to be carried in the same space. It also help reduce 41% of carbon footprint per unit, offering a more environmental friendly and cost-efficient logistics option
Optoma is a forerunner in green product design. Optoma’s SSI products take things a step further with sustainability incorporated into all aspects of a product, including design, production, packaging, and logistics. Optoma Green Badge represents Optoma’s commitment to sustainability. Our primary ways of lowering the environmental impact of our products are centered on four areas.
Reducing power consumption is one of our key approaches to minimizing the impact of our products.
Energy consumption during product usage makes up most of the carbon footprint over the product's lifetime. Products that use less energy can reduce their environmental impact, so do our customers’.
As a result, Optoma is shifting to the use of laser technology in its business and home projectors, which can reduce power consumption by nearly 40% compared to lamp-based counterparts.
The use of environmentally friendly materials for products and during production.
According to UK Plastics Pack 2022, it takes 75% less energy to make a plastic bottle from recycled plastic than virgin materials. Our product design team works closely with suppliers to identify environmentally friendly recycled materials that minimize waste that would otherwise go into landfills and reduce the use of virgin plastics. Optoma is committed to producing SSI-based projectors that are made with 50 % post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics.
Moreover, Optoma complies with WEEE, RoHS, and REACH regulations that restrict the use of hazardous substances during production, which helps protect landfills from permanent contamination.
Compact product and packaging sizes for logistical efficiency
Designed to be compact, Optoma’s advanced thermal and laser technology enable small and compact designs without sacrificing reliability and safety.
Our latest laser projector series is 34% smaller, and its packaging has been reduced by 47% in size compared with the previous series. This allows twice as many products per container, contributing to a reduction in fossil fuel consumed per unit and thus a lower carbon footprint.
Optimized packaging made with more recycled and reusable materials
Optoma brings sustainability to the consumer unboxing experience. Our choice of materials ensures that our packaging can be easily recycled and reused to start another packaging journey.
Our outer carton boxes are made from up to 85% recycled material, and we have replaced EPE foam cushioning with recycled paper and paper mold materials without compromising the durability of the packaging!
Optoma projectors provide reliable colour performance suitable for any content and environment. From accurate sRGB colours for lifelike images to vibrant punchy presentations. We have a display mode to specific meet your needs. Perfect for a range of graphic and video presentations.
Images can be projected over a 360° rangealong the projector’s horizontal axis.
*For more information please refer to the user manual
Ideal for digital signage applications you can rotate your projector 90 degrees to project a portrait image.
Optoma projectors can display true 3D content from almost any 3D source, including 3D compatible graphics cards, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation 3d media servers.
When you connect HDMI CEC-compatible devices to the projector with HDMI cables, you can control them on the same power on or power off status using the HDMI Link feature. This lets one device or multiple devices in a group power on/off simultaneously.
This projector features quick start-up and shutdown and reaches full brightness quickly. To maximise energy saving it also includes a ‘pause projection’ feature where the light source can be completely shut off. Unlike conventional lamp based projectors, the laser- light source requires minimal cool-down time.
Less than 30 dB in ECO mode.
