This Extended Warranty (also called Warranty Upgrade) program is operated by GM Multimedia Pty. Ltd. Trading as Just Projectors. These terms and conditions relate entirely to the Just Projectors Extended Warranty Program and in no way inhibit or restrict your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. Consumer Guarantees have no set time limit but generally last for an amount of time that is reasonable to expect given factors including the cost and quality of the product or any representations made. These guarantees are automatically included with every sale whether you purchase an extended warranty or not. You do not pay for these guarantees. An Extended Warranty provides benefits which will overlap with your Australian Consumer Laws rights.
Products sold by us include a Warranty (sometimes called Express Warranty, Voluntary Warranty or Manufacturer’s Warranty). This is a set of promises outlined by the manufacturer regarding an item being free from defects for a certain period of time when used as designed. Warranties are in addition to Consumer Guarantees.
Our extended warranty program increases the warranty length up to a total of 4 years coverage. Extended warranties provide absolute certainty knowing that you are 100% covered if your product develops a fault, and for wear and tear, under normal use and conditions. No grey areas, no negotiating, no stress. Your Just Projectors Extended Warranty provides additional Peace of Mind knowing exactly what to expect if there is a fault with your product.
This extended warranty program can only be used for projectors purchased from GM Multimedia Pty. Ltd. (t/a Just Projectors); it cannot be used to extend the warranty of an item purchased at another store. Just Projectors reserves the right to suspend or cancel any extended warranty program if you fail to pay by the due date shown on your GM Multimedia Tax Invoice. Just Projectors extended warranties are only valid if the extended warranty is purchased within 90 days of the original purchase dated.
Extended warranty is not valid on items where the serial number has been defaced, removed, or is no longer legible. Serial numbers are required for verification.
Extended Warranties commence when the included manufacturer warranty period, as advertised on Just Projectors, has expired. Warranty upgrades can be purchased to increase your warranty length up to 4 years total coverage (including the manufacturer warranty that was already provided at time of purchase). For example, if your projector comes with a 2 year warranty you can add on up to 2 years more. If your projector comes with a 3 year warranty, you can add 1 year more. If your projector already comes with a 4 or 5 year warranty no upgrade is available.
Just Projectors may replace your product with a product of similar specification if a repair is deemed to be too costly or if the repair will take an unreasonable amount of time to complete. The replacement product will be supplied by Just Projectors and will be of similar specification limited to the original purchase price of your product. Due to technology price drops over time, the replacement product may have a lower selling price and (in rare cases) may be a different brand. Any difference in replacement price to the original purchase price will not be refunded. Just Projectors’ extended warranty does not guarantee new for old replacement. Upon issue of a replacement product, store credit, or negotiated refund, this will void any remaining term of your Extended Warranty. In the event a product replacement is required a Just Projectors team member will discuss with you to ensure the replacement will suit your requirements as much as possible.
Parts used for repairs are generally new. However, we reserve the right to use refurbished parts if necessary due to supply constraints.
During the process of repair, goods that are capable of retaining user-generated data may result in some or all of your stored data being lost. Lost data may include but is not limited to, projector settings, customised programming, files stored on projectors inbuilt memory. Just Projectors is not responsible for any backing up or loss of data incurred, nor does Just Projectors cover any operating system or software.
Where a product has had any three failures, that have been repaired during the extended warranty period and under the terms and conditions of this product, Just Projectors will, on the third occasion, provide a Product Replacement. Faulty products may be replaced after the 1st or 2nd fault depending on the severity of the fault and the cost and timeframe of a repair (please see ‘Product Replacement’ for terms and conditions of replaced goods).
Fair Wear and Tear is covered as a result of normal domestic usage within manufacturer recommendations and covers items such as buttons and switches which have failed or have become worn away under normal usage. Remote controls, cables, bags, projector lamps, filters, consumables and other separate accessories are not included as part of this extended warranty program.
Reasonable return postage costs are covered by Just Projectors. Where possible Just Projectors can provide a prepaid postage label for easy return of your faulty item. Just Projectors will also cover the cost of returning your repaired item to you or the postage cost of any replacement. In the event your item is returned, and no fault is found that is covered under this program, the customer will be liable for all postage costs and potential inspection fees.
For all valid claims covered by this Extended Warranty program, Just Projectors will arrange the repair and return freight without any charge to the customer. Repairs are undertaken by various Australian service centres as advised by the brand/vendor/manufacturer.

This Extended Warranty program is solely for projectors being used for normal residential, office, and education purposes.
It does not cover goods used in the following circumstances.
This extended warranty is not an insurance policy.
Consumables and accessories are not covered under this extended warranty program. Consumables and accessories include, projector lamps, remote controls, 3D glasses, cables, adapters, carry cases, filters, or external power supplies.
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, this extended warranty program is limited to the conditions as specified here. Just Projectors may use the vendor/brand/manufacturer terms and conditions for situations not listed here. It is the customers responsibility to ensure safe packing of the product to prevent transportation damage. Damage or loss that can be contributed to insufficient packing or labelling is the responsibility of the customer.
Just Projectors is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. Just Projectors does not trade, rent, or sell your information. Your information may be made available to the vendor/brand/manufacturer, or a repair agent, for the purpose of repairing your product under the Extended Warranty program. Just Projectors reserve the right to report the customers’ information to the appropriate authorities and/or banking institutions if the information we received is deemed to be false, misleading or fraudulent.
