Are Laser Projectors Safe?

Laser projectors emit diffused light, they are not a direct laser, therefore the projected light from a laser projector is no more dangerous than a bright lamp based projector. Just like with a lamp based projector you should always avoid looking into the lens of a projector while it is on. There is no increased risk of eye damage, unless users intentionally stare into the lens for a prolonged period, never a good idea with any bright light.
