Full HD 1080p SXRD™ Panels The VPLHW15 features three separate SXRD panels, one for each primary colour (Red, Green, and Blue). Each panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution, high contrast, fast response time and film-like reproduction. Images are dotfree eliminating the “screen door” effect.

Advanced Digital Signal Processing with BRAVIA Engine 2™ Incorporating Sony’s own BRAVIA Engine 2, the HW15 has a fully integrated digital picture enhancement engine. Incoming signals, be it analogue or digital, are carefully enhanced for best viewing. This results in vibrant colours and excellent image sharpness.

All Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) Lens A specially developed lens complimenting the projector’s Full HD SXRD panels. The 1.6x zoom lens delivers superior resolution and focus to all corners of the screen.

Real Colour Processing (RCP) Function
Allows you to adjust the hue of a specific colour without changing the whole image.

Panel Alignment Function
Allows the precise alignment of RGB images with to deliver a sharper, crisper picture.

Noise Reduction (NR) Function
Reduces the roughness or noise of the picture. It helps get rid of artefacts often found on MPEG video signals.

Superb Contrast Ratio up to 60,000:1 with Advanced Iris 3™
Advanced Iris 3, the latest version of Sony’s own Advanced Iris function, optimises the projector’s contrast levels to suit the brightness of each movie scene. It uses algorithms to analyse the histogram of each scene and automatically adjusts the size of the iris aperture. The results are crisp and clear images in bright scenes. Black levels in dark scenes are deep and detailed while still maintaining peak brightness.

BRAVIA Sync
BRAVIA Sync allows you to link the projector with other BRAVIA Sync or HDMI CEC compatible devices and control them using the HW15’s remote.
