The x2500EDU is a high performance projector, with security features designed to appeal to educational establishments. Consultation with schools, LEA, Police, Government departments and Insurance companies led directly to the development of the orange projector. The projector will not work outside the classroom or lecture theatre without the detachable security panel to restart it.

Detachable Security Panel
After using the detachable security panel during installation and set up, this ingenious panel can be removed like modern ‘face-off’ car stereos and locked away from the projector. The supplied remote control can be used to switch on the x2500EDU from standby as long as the unit still has power.
Using the remote control, the projector will work correctly unless it is unplugged or the power is switched off, which immediately disables the projector. The only way to restart the projector is to retrieve the detachable security panel, clip it back in place and run through the set-up process again. A password or PIN number is optional but not necessary and it is impossible to reset the projector from the remote control.
If the detachable security panel should be lost, it can be replaced by an authorised dealer, but only
on proof of purchase.

Personalise Your x2500EDU
It is possible to personalise the start-up screen of the projector with the logo of the school or college that owns it and the code is required to change or delete it. This logo capture forms another important level of security for each individual projector. The x2500EDU is also fitted with a Kensington lock for added security and peace of mind.

Remote Control
Lock away the detachable security panel then simply use the remote control to operate all the functions of the projector, except those related to security.

Economy
When no signal is detected, the projector automatically switches to standby to reduce power consumption and extend the lamp life.

The x2500EDU has 2 PC inputs, with the 2nd being switchable to ‘Monitor Out’ mode to allow a big classroom to be daisy chained together.

This remarkable projector has the ability to synchronise the Audio Input and Audio Output, allowing control of the picture and sound with just one remote control.

The ‘Blackboard Mode’ feature modifies the image, making some
allowance for different wall colourings.

The projector has 4 remote control frequencies to choose from when setting up, so it will not affect or be affected by other projectors being used in the same room.
