VPL-FHZ700L Continuing Evolution – 7,000 lumens 3LCD Laser Light Source Projector
Building on the ground-breaking 3LCD Laser Light Source technology, the VPL-FHZ700L outputs high power 7,000 lumens color brightness at WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution, designed for large venue commercial spaces in education, corporate, house of worships, theme park and museum applications. The model features up to 20,000 hours* of virtually maintenance-free operation and exceptional integration capabilities, making it a right fit for applications where conventional projectors fall short.

Multiple Light Output Mode
The VPL-FHZ700L offers several user-selectable light output modes and energy saving features, to maximize the benefit of the unique optical system.
Basic Settings
- High mode: Outputs 7,000 lumens
- Standard mode: Outputs 5,600 lumens with less power consumption than high mode
- Auto mode: This varies brightness according to the needs of each scene, going darker when the picture goes darker, for example. The system dynamically adjusts color balance to maintain picture quality.
- Custom mode: This allows users to set the brightness level as preferred, with a maximum light output of 7,000 lumens
Advanced Settings
- Constant brightness mode: This maintains the light output throughout the expected life by driving the projector at reduced output. It is suitable for applications where visual consistency is required, whether in digital signage or museums or even classrooms.
- Auto light dimming: In the event the projector detects static signal input for 10 seconds, the light output gradually reduces by approximately 15%. Then, after a user preset time of 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes with the static signal, the second stage of light dimming kicks in and reduces the light output down to 5% of the original brightness.
Near Instantaneous Power On/Off
The VPL-FHZ700L only requires 6 seconds for the brightness to ramp up after turning on. There is also a "quick reboot" mode available which allows users to reboot the projector in just 1 second, during user preset time of 10 minutes or 30 minutes after turning off the projector. This is a useful feature for facilities where there are presentation intervals between classes and meetings.
Extreme Range Lens Shift
The VPL-FHZ700L has a powered lens shift function which shifts the projected image optically up to; vertically +/- 113% and horizontally +/-63% (available lens shift range varies by the selected optional lens). With this extreme lens shift range, the projector can be installed in challenging environments, for example keeping audiences' site lines by installing the projector high above the screen, or horizontally avoiding HVAC ducts on the ceiling. |

360° Tilt Angle Free Design
Conventional high-pressure mercury cooling systems only function across a limited range of installation angles. Sony's True Laser System gives you complete freedom of tilt angle. You can roll the projector 360° clockwise or counterclockwise, including portrait or landscape orientation. And you can "pitch" the projector 360° forward or back.

Simple Installation by HDBaseT (Optional)
The VPL-FHZ700L can be integrated directly into an HDBaseT environment by using the optional BKM-PJ10 HDBaseT adaptor. HDBaseT is a multi-signal transmission system via a single Cat5e/6 cable that simplifies projector installation. With HDBaseT connectivity, the VPL-FHZ700L can interface with other HDBaseT certified equipment, and receive video, control and Ethernet signals, all over single cable. This reduces the number of cable runs and eliminates the need for signal extenders. Fewer signal extenders and receiver boxes means fewer potential points of failure. |

Expanded Connectivity with HD-SDI (Optional)
Single link and 3G digital video signal up to 1080/60p can be fed to the VPL-FHZ700L through BKM-PJ20 HD-SDI adaptor. The SDI interface is suitable for applications including live video production and image magnification where reliable and long distance signal run is desired. |

Blend-in Design
With its connector panel located on the front, creating a flat surface on top and back, the projectors are designed to blend in visually. Additionally, white and black color options are available for bright room environments or dark, low light spaces (i.e.; museum, sanctuary, live stages, etc).
Edge Blending / Color Matching
