The PLC-XU116 delivers true XGA resolution at 4500 ANSI Lumens, and it’s not much larger than a laptop - only 7.9 pounds. When it comes to versatility, there’s a go-anywhere (including ceiling mount) ability to this projector. One big reason is because it uses a X1.6 zoom lens. A lens like this can throw a crisp, bright 100” diagonal image from a distance of only 7.9’.

NETWORKING CAPABILITY
The PLC-XU116 is equipped with SANYO’s exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired and wireless networking, now MAC compatible, a common feature among SANYO’s extensive line of commercial projectors. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from a long distance via a web browser. Emails can be sent automatically to report operating status. The wireless interface is compatible with IEEE802.11b/g standards, offering transfer speeds up to 54Mbps and providing WEP 64/128-bit security.

TWO COMPUTER INPUTS (DVI-I AND D-SUB)
Take advantage of the DVI-I Input, D-Sub15 for inputs. Relax knowing there are 16 languages (operation menu) to choose from.

POWER-OFF AND GO AND DARK-SURFACE PROJECTION CAPABILITY
No need to wait for the projector to cool down. You can disconnect the power cord right after your presentation. And speaking of presentations, for more effective presentations in rooms with dark-surfaced walls, the PLC-XU116 projector features the blackboard (green) mode, which automatically adjusts white balance and gamma correction to project a quality image without a screen.

2D Keystone
The PLC-XU116 automatically compensates for vertical (± 40 degrees) keystone picture distortion, along with manual adjustments for corner vertical and horizontal keystone(± 30 degrees). The Corner Keystone Correction Function eliminates the trapezoidal image distortion that is caused by projection at an angle. Beautiful image projection is possible by adjusting the four corners using the buttons on the main unit or remote control to eliminate trapezoidal distortion.

MEMORY VIEWER ALLOWS USB PICTURE DISPLAY (jpeg)

SECURITY FEATURES
A PIN code lock provides a setting for security. The PLC-XU116 projector cannot be operated without a four-digit number.

USER-SPECIFIED START-UP SCREEN
To create a smoother, more professional presentation, logo and image files may be captured for display during the projector’s countdown sequence at start-up.

VARIABLE AUDIO OUT
This convenient feature allows the user to control the audio level right from the projector. The centralization of video and audio controls from the projector help in educational applications by ensuring the technical quality of the presentation and eliminating the fuss of separate outside audio controls.

360° Degree Tilt Angle The PLC-XU116/ XU106 can project images while they are tilted 360 degrees around their horizontal axis in either direction - for more flexible setup. NOTE: Be sure to set the lamp control to High and the fan control to MAX in the setting menu when the projector is inclined between +40 degrees and +140 degrees to the horizontal plane.

Wide 1.6x Zoom Lens The wide-range 1.6x zoom lens lets you project a 100" image from as close as 2.4 meters from the screen, to as far away as 3.8 meters. That makes it a lot easier to find suitable places to set the projector up.
