This value projector features a 6-segment color wheel accompanied by Acer ColorBoost and SmartFormat technologies for rich, vibrant imagery and complete wide format support.
3D Projection (3D Ready)
The DLP-based X1161P-3D ready is compatible with stereoscopic 3D technologies using Texas Instruments' DLP Link. These capabilities allow 3D pictures to be projected from a single beamer out-of-the-box without requiring any additional special polarizer, filter or screen.

- Acer eTimer Management provides an onscreen visual cue, keeping presentations on schedule. Simply set a time limit to your presentation, and a timer and reminder are displayed onscreen. Acer SmartFormat technology ensures support for a variety of display standards and resolutions, and makes setup easy, freeing you from complicated resolution settings.
With Acer InstantPack technology you can safely unplug the power cord right after the projector is turned off -- you don't have to wait for a cooling period, so you can pack up and go immediately! The projector automatically performs a safety shutdown if there is no input for an extended period of time.
- The Acer X1161P detects input as soon as a source is connected, eliminating time spent signal scanning.
