Optoma UHL55 4k LED Projector

The Optoma UHL55 is a true all in one projector saving you from costly installation or maintenance with a massive swath of inbuilt features. The UHL55 offers a massively detailed 4K UHD resolution ready for the most detailed movies and gaming combined with a long-lasting LED light source which can last up to a massive 30,000 hours of use. If you watch two two-hour movies every day without fail that equates to 41 years of operation perfect for binging Netflix or nonstop movie marathons.  
With a 1.2:1 throw ratio the UHL55 is perfect for popping on a coffee table eliminating the need to run cables and install ceiling mounts. For a massive 100” picture the UHL55 can be placed at 2.5metres distance.

4K UHD Resolution

The UHL55 is a new breed of projector with an Ultra HD 4K resolution giving you four times the detail of a full HD projector. This delivers a sharper clearer picture perfect for the new generation of gaming consoles and 4K disks.

HDR10 compatible Capable of receiving and displaying HDR meta data, Optoma HDR compatible projectors like the UHL55 allow you to see far more detail and texture. Objects look more solid and life like and the extra detail creates a greater sense of depth. It’s like looking through a window.

Dynamic Black technology

This feature gives more depth to your image by smoothly adjusting the lamp output, based on the brightness information of each frame; to create a stunning high contrast ratio. Bright scenes appear crisp and clear, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep blacks and exceptional light and shade detail.

LED light source
An LED light source, which replaces a traditional lamp and color wheel, while also having a
super long life up to 30,000 hours.
It’s 7 times longer than traditional lamp life ratings, saving you both time and money.

Color Accuracy
The UHL55 achieves near REC.709 color gamut, the international HDTV standard to guarantee accurate reproduction of cinematic colour exactly as the director intended.

Superior audio performance • UHL55 is capable of decoding Dolby 5.1 surround sound or the audio can be passed through S/PDIF port and connect to your own surround system. • Two listening modes : music & movie Audio performance worthy as a centerpiece The UHL55’s vented enclosure technology extends low -pitch and low-frequency soundwaves to be reproduced at sub-100 Hz. This results in a deeper, fuller and superior bass performance. Precision engineered ports allow the UHL55 to deliver 360 degree, omnidirectional sound, suitable for any home environment. UHL55 can be used as Bluetooth speaker when not used as a projector.

UHL55 Color Gamut
UHL55 has a very wide color gamut, 118% of Rec. 709 color gamut. Thanks to the wide color gamut, the individual R, G and B colors are bright and vibrant.

PureMotion
PureMotion is a sophisticated frame interpolation processing technology that compensates for videos filmed in 24fps to remove motion blur. The processing generates transitional frames in between existing ones to reduce motion judder giving you a smooth viewing experience during action packed fast-moving scenes.

Auto Focus
When turning on the power, the focus sensor measures the distance between the projector and the screen and adjusts the focus of the projected images automatically.

USB reader (Multimedia)

The UHL55 also offers a versatile USB reader capable to playing movies, photo's, music or even business presentations from a USB stick without the need for an expensive player or computer.
