Canon's XEED SX60 multimedia projector is it's most advanced yet. That's because it combines two unique technologies - Canon's Aspectual Illumnination System (AISYS) and super-slim Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) panels - that not only project great quality images, but also make XEED projectors extremely compact and affordable.

The SX60 features a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and almost silent operation that makes it perfect for home theatres.

Sharp detail and realistic photos

The SX60 features SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels) for pin-sharp detail in things like detailed designs and drawings and realistic photos and video footage.

Light up the big screen

Working in tandem, Canon's AISYS technology and LCOS panels optimise the light path, preventing light loss and relecting more light towards the screen. The SX60 produces 2500 lumens brightness - ideal for presentations on bright days.

True-to-life contrast

With a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, the SX60 produces rich colour tones, true blacks and detail-filled highlights. In home cinema mode, the SX60 has a contrast ratio of 2000:1 for rich colours in dark environments.

Super sharp images and diagrams

The sharpness produced by LCOS panels improves picture quality further. They reduce the gaps between pixels that can give images and diagrams a grainy appearance, ensuring superbly faithful reproduction.

Colour you can count on

Canon's Pure Colour Processing technology reproduces clear and true colours, with completely accurate contrast and balance. Colour can be manually adjusted with the six-axis colour adjustment feature for even greater control.

Flicker-free video presentations The LCOS panels used in XEED projectors operate at double frame speed for smooth, flicker-free video presentations. Distortion free images Incorporating two aspherical lens elements and an ultra-low dispersion lens element, the lens produces distortion free images without colour shift or bleeding throughout the zoom range. Super Spectra coating minimises reflected light that can cause ghosting and flaring.

Compact, light and highly portable

The compact nature of the AISYS-LCOS system and their lightweight construction makes XEED projectors great for taking on the road or for use in offices where the projector needs to be moved frequently. With the off-and-go feature they can be unplugged and packed away immediately.

Simple operation

Straightforward controls and intuitive menu structures make operation simple. With one touch tilt action and keystone correction of -/+ degrees, horizontally and vertically, they are easy to adjust on the fly.

Automatic setup

The auto setup feature gets you started automatically. It detects the type of input, sets the keystone correction and frame lock, and then adjusts the focus and compensates for the colour of the projection surface automatically.

Whisper quiet

Near silent operation makes XEED projectors ideal for business presentations and home cinemas. In quiet mode the SX60 produces only 27 decibels. A more efficient illumination system that requires less cooling and a fan design that points away from the audience reduces noise.

Precision Canon zoom lens

The SX60 features a genuine Canon wide angle 1.7x optical zoom lens that projects high resolution images as large as 2.5 metres across from as close as 3 metres. This motorised lens can be adjusted by remote control for placement flexibility.

Accurate movie projection

The SX60 is equipped with a cinema filter for the accurate projection of motion pictures. By raising the purity of RGB colours, it reproduces the colour palette as conceived by the colourist, projecting the original colours of the film before it was converted to video.

Multiple connection options

Multiple connection options make it easy to connect and project from just about any device - whether it's a laptop, VCR DVD player or any other multimedia device, it's equally simple.

Advanced digital connectivity

The SX60 is equipped with a DVI (Digital Video Interface) port with HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compatibility that ensures even encrypted digital content is displayed in exceptionally high quality.
