Performance Features Ease Of Use Value	"The Canon LE-5 is a big step forward in light, inexpensive LED projectors. At less than $800, it fits many budgets, and its video performance is excellent for such a small projector. Even its 5-watt audio output is unusually high for its class although its fan noise can be a distraction. For home and portable environments where ambient light can be controlled, the Canon LE-5 is a solid performer, particularly when projecting video images. It richly deserves our highest value rating. In fact, it is an excellent video projector with saturated, well-balanced colors and a slightly soft look that mimics a theater presentation. Advancements in color accuracy have been slow in coming in the small LED projector class, but Canon has made a nice improvement in that category. With a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, shadows and highlights are rendered nicely, and flesh tones are excellent in User mode where color temperature can be adjusted. "

The Canon LE-5W LED projector blends superb portability with native WXGA resolution (1200 x 800 pixels). So it’s ideal for delivering high-impact images in both business and home environments.

With an LED light source that delivers 500 lumens, the LE-5W is the brightest projector in its class. Excellent colour reproduction is achieved via the latest exclusive 3LED technology, while the dedicated sRGB image mode ensures perfect colour accuracy.

Durable, affordable ownership
The 20,000 hour lifespan of its LED light source makes the LE-5W a truly cost-effective projector. The expense of projector lamp changes are avoided, as the LED light source has a lifetime equivalent to four or more conventional projector lamps. For even lower running costs, a dedicated ECO mode reduces power consumption by 30%.

Outstanding contrast
The LE-5W’s 3000:1 contrast ratio produces stunningly vivid colours and deep, true blacks – ideal for enhancing a range of home entertainment experiences. Movies, computer games and even everyday TV are brought to life, as the projector displays intricate details you might miss on smaller displays. A versatile throw ratio of 1.2:1 means a large 80" diagonal image can be projected from a distance of just over two metres.

Flexible connectivity
An HDMI™ terminal, USB port and SD card slot make the LE-5W ideal for use with many devices – like a computer, iPad/tablet PC, smartphone, digital camera, video camera, DVD player or games console. The pre-installed media player is compatible with common document, image and video file formats. With 1.5GB of built-in memory, the LE-5W can even deliver presentations without a computer.

Built-in 2.5W stereo speakers
The LE-5W is the only model in its class with stereo speakers – delivering undistorted stereo even if no external speakers are available.

Wall Colour Correction
For impromptu presentations, a conventional projection screen may not be needed. With five types of wall colour correction, the show can go on, even if the projection surface is not pure white.

Instant On and Off
The LE-5W can project within four seconds of powering up, so you can begin presentations without delay. Tripod support makes it easy to present in environments where there’s no table or conventional projector stand available.

Compact, light and stylish
Weighing just 1.6kg and only 50mm high (excluding protrusions), the LE-5W fits neatly into a laptop bag or briefcase.
