3LCD Technology

All Epson projectors are based on 3-chip LCD technology for amazing colour, incredible detail and solid reliability. The Epson EH-TW8300 features the cutting edge D9 panels with 12bit colour which enables the projector to reproduce subtle differences in colour gradation, especially important with skin tones. The TW8300 also features the C2 Fine technology which projects a brighter image by boosting aperture ratios making for a brighter image capable or operating in rooms without full light control.

Upscale 1080P Content
The EH-TW8300 also features 4K enhancement which can upscale current HD content making it appear as a more detailed image.

Pixel Scaling Epson’s 4K enhancement is achieved with a state of the art pixel shifting technique. The projector shifts the each pixel diagonally by a miniscule 0.5 of a pixel doubling the resolution on both the horizontal and vertical plane. 4K enhancement improves the detail without having to fork out for new 4K movies and players.

Wide Colour Gamut Enjoy brilliant colour with the EH-TW8300. The projector has been designed to give you rich and vibrant colour even in the brightest mode. The TW8300 covers the sRGB colour gamut completely and even adheres to the DCI colour gamut (the digital cinema standard).

Lens Memory

Fast, quiet and precise, the new range allows you to preset up to 10 positions for zoom, focus and lens shift for both standard projection and wide cinema ratios. Project 2.40, 1.85 and 1.78 aspect ratios on the same screen without an anamorphic lens — and no downtime when switching between ratios. Watch movies on a grander scale at the touch of a button, without any disruptive black bars.

Powered Lens Shift, Zoom and Focus The Epson EH-TW8300 features one of the most flexible zoom focus and lens shift on the market. This makes for easier installation when you need the projector quite close or far away from the screen and also if it needs to be far off centre from a high ceiling or off to the side. The adjustments are all achieved optically so you do not loose any resolution. The TW8300 features a 2x zoom and a massive lens shift range ± 96 percent on the vertical axis and up to ± 47 percent on the horizontal axis. This is all adjustable from the remote so you do not have to be up at the projector to make adjustments.

Efficient Cooling System

The only sound you want in a true home cinema is crystal clear audio not the buzzing of a projector cooling fan. The EH-TW8300 features larger slower moving cooling fans and purpose designed vents to achieve an almost silent 20db noise rating on cinema mode. This is among the quietest projectors in the industry.
