Advanced 3LCD technology
World–leading projector video display technology
At the heart of the EMP-X56 is Epson's world–leading 3LCD technology. This projection system uses three individual LCD panels to display images that exhibit silky smooth movement and fresh, natural colours.
Bright, vibrant colours and unequalled image quality are characteristics of 3LCD technology, with the projector delivering outstanding results in any presentation environment. |
Due to 3LCD's incredibly efficient use of light, projectors based on this technology are able to achieve quiet operating levels, exceptional clarity and flicker–free presentations. |
Light–efficient lamp technology E–TORL
Delivering brilliant light — all the time, every time
One of the crucial features delivered by the EMP-X56 is its ability to provide up to 2600 ANSI lumens via incredibly efficient E–TORL (Epson Twin Optimised Reflection Lamp) technology. Designed to minimise light leakage — a primary cause of lamp inefficiency — and minimise light diffraction, E–TORL lamps combine an ellipsoidal reflector, spherical lens and hemispherical mirror. This combination ensures optimum light efficiency with minimal power consumption and heat generation. |
 |
 |
Environmentally Conscious Design
- No use of Halogen fireproof chemicals for the the main body
- Recycled paper used for packaging, no use of Styrofoam
- Lead-free lens
- Low power consumption and improved light efficiency
- Reduced standby power consumption
|
Cutting–Edge Technology
Designed specifically to get the best out of your presentations, the Epson EMP-X56 is packed with features to take care of all the little details and lets you get on with the important things.
The Epson EMP-X56's advanced componentry helps reduce the set up and shut down times to a fraction of those of other projectors. In stark contrast to some projectors that can take up to three minutes to shut down, the Epson EMP-X56 shuts down immediately and can start up in as little as 5 seconds. |
 |
What's more, the projector will detect whatever input source you are using at a push of a button. Just plug it in, hit "Source Search" and it adjusts the setting to suit, so you're ready to go without any hassles. |
Powerful and Versatile
When you're presenting on the road, you can never be sure exactly what environment you will be projecting in. To ensure the best possible image clarity and quality every time, Epson have added an extensive colour management system to the EMP-X56, which maintains optimum performance for each input signal and matches the particular projection environment. Choose from one of the following Colour Modes: Photo, Sports, Theatre, Game, Presentation, Blackboard, Text and sRGB
 |
High Brightness
Up to 2600 ANSI lumens for brilliant image projection
With its 2600 ANSI lumens in high brightness mode, the EMP-X56 delivers brilliant presentation quality, even in the brightest room. For longer lamp life the Brightness level can be reduced to 2080 ANSI Lumens. The EMP-X56 is designed with features to ensure a "best fit" for any situation. |
Security
Tough Security Bar, Password Protect & Kensington Lock
With projectors increasingly becoming a valuable tool for business and education, it is often important to control their use and of course, prevent theft. With the EMP-X56 you can (if required) prevent operation without a correct password, set a time limit and protect the user logo in the start–up screen. |
 |
The EMP-X56 also has a built in tough security bar as a reliable counter measure against theft. |
 |
A/V Mute Slide
You can stop and resume presentations easily by opening and closing the A/V mute slide. It will automatically change to the low fan noise mode when the slide is closed. This function enables you to give more effective presentations by allowing you to mute the image and draw the audience's attention elsewhere. |
Instant Off
Shut off the power, put away the projector, and go to your next presentation. It's that simple, there is no waiting time associated with EMP-X56 when you are on the move. |
 |
Low Power Consumption
The EMP-X56 uses low operation power of 231W and just 5.8W in standby mode. Power will shut of automatically if the A/V slide has been closed for 30 minutes. |
|
Up to 4000 Hour Lamp
At only $399 RRP the E–TORL lamp has a longer estimated life of between 3000 and 4000 hours.
