There's no lengthy set–up procedure, just place it on the table, plug it in and the Keystone Correction adjusts the four screen corners to right angles – no slants, no funny angles, no worries.

The Epson EMP-83H's advanced componentry helps reduce the

set up and shut down times to a fraction of those of other projectors. In stark contrast to some projectors that can take up to three minutes to shut down, the Epson EMP-83H shuts down immediately and can start up in as little as 5 seconds.

What's more, the projector will detect whatever input source you are using at a push of a button. Just plug it in, hit "Source Search" and it adjusts the setting to suit, so you're ready to go without any hassles.

Wired for Sound
The EMP-83H comes with a built–in 10–watt speaker able to produce deep, rich sound and audio clarity. With up to five times the speaker wattage of other projectors in its class, this versatile projector is ideal for external speakers.

For those situations where external speakers are needed, the Epson EMP-83H's audio–out interface enables speakers to be connected directly to the

projector, reducing set up time by simplifying the connection to audio equipment.

To ensure the best possible image clarity and quality every time, Epson have added an extensive colour management system to the EMP-83H, which maintains optimum performance for each input signal and matches the particular projection environment.

Tough Security Bar, Password Protect & Kensington Lock
With projectors increasingly becoming a valuable tool for business and education, it is often important to control their use and of course, prevent theft. With the EMP-83H you can (if required) prevent operation without a correct password, set a time limit and protect the user logo in the start–up screen.

The EMP-83H also has a built in tough security bar as a reliable counter measure against theft.

A/V Mute Slide
You can stop and resume presentations easily by opening and closing the A/V mute slide. It will automatically change to the low fan noise mode when the slide is closed. This function enables you to give more effective presentations by allowing you to mute the image and draw the audience's attention elsewhere.

4000 Hour Lamp
E–TORL lamp with a longer brightness mode ensures extended use and low cost usability. The E–TORL lamp has a long estimated life of between 3000 and 4000 hours.

Low Power Consumption
The EMP-83H uses low operation power of 231W and just 5.8W in steady. Power will shut of automatically if the A/V slide has been closed for 30 minutes.

Direct Power ON/OFF
It is possible to connect the projector to rooms main power source so that you can activate directly by turning on the main power switch.
