"With the EH-TW8000 Installation is easy with an improved optical zoom of 2.1x giving you the flexibility of having the projector up close or further back and offering a very good degree of adjustment. The TW8000 features optical lens shift rather than keystone on the cheaper models. This means you can have it off centre but won't loose any resolution as with the digital keystone correction.

2D performance was exceptional, with deep black shading great colour and a crisp clear high resolution meant a good detailed image. It offers quiet operation and is bright enough for a lit room though will be louder when you have it on the high brightness mode. In a dim room the TW8000 takes home theatre to the next level with deep black shading and excellent colours. For good 3D performance we found you should have a fairly dim room but the image quality was excellent with a lot more depth to the image than the base models. The glasses look good, feel comfortable and they include 2 pairs on the EH-TW8000 ($99 each). All in all a great projector with a 3 year warranty, a one year warranty on the lamp and at just $299rrp on the lamps is really cheap to run. For a high end theatre room definitely the top choice."

"This year's crop of 2D and 3D capable projectors had grown in both size, and level of performance when compared to last year's projectors. I know a lot of you aren't sold on 3D yet, but if you, like me just returned from the other side of the Universe, watching Hubble 3D on the Home Cinema 5010, you most likely would change your mind. I'll say this important message, one more time: Don't judge projector 3D, performance by what 3D looks like on those puny little 40 and 50 inch LCDTVs, etc.
