Light–efficient lamp technology E–TORL

Designed to minimise light leakage — a primary cause of lamp inefficiency — and minimise light diffraction, E–TORL lamps combine an ellipsoidal reflector, spherical lens and hemispherical mirror. This combination ensures optimum light efficiency with minimal power consumption and heat generation.

Automatic Disc Detection
Insert a DVD in yourEMP-DM2 and the projector automatically plays and projects. Then, when it's time just for some music, the unit will automatically detect the CD–Audio and start playing without projecting. It even gives you the option of displaying a slideshow of JPEG images that have been saved to CD.

Just plug in the EMP-DM1's power cord and the system is ready for use! Forget about complicated cable set ups. With the EMP-DM2, everything's now so simple that the projector even automatically detects and adjusts the DVD's aspect ratio.
