WARRANTY SUMMARY

As an Authorised Australian Reseller, you will receive the exact same product support and warranty as you would if you purchased through a local store. All products sold include the original manufacturer's warranty valid within Australia. The warranty terms vary depending on the brand, please call us for further information.

All products sold by us are covered under our existing warranty policy (below) as well as by the Australian manufacturer/distributor for the life specified with the product.

Most projectors are covered from defects associated under normal use for the period of 2 years from the Invoice date. In the event the product fails under warranty it may be returned to the nearest authorised service centre. Many products also are covered by an on-site warranty, in this case the vendor may organise a courier to be sent out to collect the goods and/or issue a replacement.

When researching your purchase, please keep in mind that some resellers do not offer goods authorised for sale within Australia. These goods have been imported directly and therefore are not covered under the Australian warranty (Also known as 'Grey Imports'). JustProjectors.com.au only sells authorised product purchased through the Australian distribution channel.

OUR WARRANTY POLICY

When making a warranty claim, your products must be returned directly to a local authorised service centre.
The majority of goods sold by GM Multimedia' Just Projectors are covered by a manufacturer backed 2yr limited warranty. For warranty enquires please contact GM Multimedia or the manufacturer.

Warranty terms and conditions vary as per each manufacturer/vendor, for detailed information please speak to an authorised representative of the manufacturer or vendor. In the unlikely case that a product fails within the manufacturer warranty period, the product must be returned to a local authorised repair centre for diagnositcs and repair or replacement. Any replacement parts, boards or equipment will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period or for 90 days whichever is longer. GM Multimedia can take no responsibility for repairs underktaken, delays, errors, or for any loss or damage, direct or consequential including, without limitations, lost profits, lost goodwill, work stoppage, and loss or impairment of data arising out of the use or inability to use the product.


WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS

This warranty does not apply to:

*Any product that has not been installed in accordance with the installation instruction supplied by the equipment manufacturer.
*Any product that is repaired or altered by anyone other than an authorised service center, where products disassembled or repaired in such a manner that performance is affected.
*Any product that fails or is damaged as a result of improper storage, operation under abnormal conditions misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, act of God or maladjustment of consumer controls. Short circuiting the equipment will be considered misuse and will cause the product not to be covered by the warranty.
*Accessories and consumable goods such as projector lamps, DMD chips, are covered under different warranty terms. Please enquire when placing order.
*Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from the connection or attachment to the product that has not been approved by the manufacturer for connection or attachment to the product.
*Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from improper installation or defective functioning of software or virus infection.
*Defects or damage due to spills of liquid or other substances (dust, cigarette), excessive temperature or humidity and environmental conditions.
*Aesthetic or surface damage or scratches to all plastic surfaces and other external parts damaged due to normal customer use.
*Any cost of hardware or software removal or reinstallation.
*Any product or part thereof which has suffered through alteration or defacement of the serial number or warranty seals as such where an unauthorised service personnel opening the product without permission from GM Multimedia.
*Where proof of purchase documentation can not be produced.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

To obtain repairs or replacement within terms of this warranty, please contact us directly by phone. Alternatively warranty claims can be made directly to the manufacturer via an authorised service centre. For more information please see the leaflet that came with your product.

Under no circumstances shall GM Multimedia be liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential including, without limitations, lost profits, lost goodwill, work stoppage, and loss or impairment of data arising out of the use or inability to use the product.

The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the service provided which the consumer has under the Trade Practices Act and similar State and Territory Laws.
