The PLC-XU106 delivers true XGA resolution at 4500 ANSI lumens, with 1000:1 contrast ratio using inorganic LCD panels, and it’s not much larger than a laptop – only 7.5 pounds. When it comes to versatility, there’s a go-anywhere (including ceiling mount) ability to this projector. One big reason is because it uses a 1.6X zoom lens. A lens like this can throw a crisp, bright 100” diagonal image from a distance of only 7.9 feet.
The PLC-XU106 automatically compensates for vertical (± 40 degrees) keystone picture distortion, along with adjustments for corner vertical and horizontal keystone. Auto Input Signal Search to automatically find an input signal, and a helpful Guidance Function on screen to assist in easy connection. The projector is also, equipped with LAN (RJ-45) input that allows for management and projector control via the Network. A versatile, projector when you need it.
POWER-OFF AND GO AND DARK-SURFACE PROJECTION
CAPABILITY
No need to wait for the projector to cool down. You can
disconnect the power cord right after your presentation without
worrying about overheating. And speaking of presentations, for
more effective presentations in rooms with dark-surfaced walls,
the PLC-XU106 projector features the blackboard (green) mode,
which automatically adjusts the white balance and gamma
correction to project a detailed image without a screen.
2D Keystone
The PLC-XU106 automatically compensates for vertical (± 40 degrees) keystone picture distortion, along with manual adjustments for corner vertical and horizontal keystone(± 30 degrees). The Corner Keystone Correction Function eliminates the trapezoidal image
distortion that is caused by projection at an angle. Beautiful image projection
is possible by adjusting the four corners using the buttons on the main unit
or remote control to eliminate trapezoidal distortion.
USER-SPECIFIED START-UP SCREEN
To create a more professional presentation, logo and image files
may be captured for display during the projector’s countdown
start-up sequence.
SECURITY FEATURES
A PIN code lock provides a setting for security. The PLC-XU106
projector cannot be operated without a four-digit number.
VARIABLE AUDIO OUT
This convenient feature allows the user to control the audio level
right from the projector. The centralization of video and audio
controls from the projector helps in educational applications by
ensuring the technical quality of the presentation and eliminating
the fuss of separate outside audio controls.
360° Degree Tilt Angle
The PLC-XU116/ XU106 can project images while they are tilted 360 degrees around their horizontal axis in either direction - for more flexible setup.
NOTE: Be sure to set the lamp control to High and the fan control to MAX in the setting menu when the projector is inclined between +40 degrees and +140 degrees to the horizontal plane. |

Wide 1.6x Zoom Lens
The wide-range 1.6x zoom lens lets you project a 100" image from as close as 2.4 meters from the screen, to as far away as 3.8 meters. That makes it a lot easier to find suitable places to set the projector up. |
